HOW WE STARTED
Encouraging the Community
Founded in 2023, Start at the Source is a community based organization that helps to advocate for a cleaner society and planet. We also educate people on how pollution will affect us over time. Our founder, Naomi MacQueen, go's to speak about Start at the Source and to teach people about how they can help. So overall, we came together to advocate on where pollution starts and thrives and how to stop it. Our main goal is to end pollution and live in an environment where nature and the atmosphere is CLEAN.

What We Do
CLEAN
This organizations goal is to reduce, if not end, pollution. Some of the major sources of pollution in the US are New York (state & city), Los Angeles, Bakersfield, Boston and Chicago. We spend hours looking for volunteers to go and physically help pick up trash! Cleaning the earth benefits everyone in the end and allows people and animals to live better and healthier lives
PARTNERSHIP
Start at the Source is building a community of support and helpful advocates and volunteers to make sure that pollution reduces in the time the earth has. Our success is driven by the hearts, minds, and souls of our community. We are looking to partner with other organizations such as 4Ocean, The Ocean Clean Up and Clean Up The World
ADVOCATE
Advocacy is the essential pillar of our organization. There is strength in numbers, and we work to inform and encourage others to take a stand for what needs to be done. Help to take action by spreading the word! Speaking and presenting factual information about why cleaning up trash and speaking UP about how our earth needs to be protected, can influence others to do the same and help clean our planet
